Meet the Conveyancing Expert Team

Gavin is one of the Directors of Conveyancing Expert Limited and is both a Solicitor and a Licenced Conveyancer. Gavin is the principal lawyer in the office though he retains a full working caseload in addition to his management responsibilities. His specialist area is commercial property though he also works on complex residential transactions and priority files. Gavin has taken a file from initial paperwork to completion in one day — please ask about this service by speaking to Laura Wilson.

Gavin also uses his private client background when writing Wills or when acting on a probate matter. In his personal time, Gavin sings with the rainy city chorus, a four part harmony choir who practice in Stockport. Gavin also rides motorcycles, is a keen DIY'er and is the father to a young boy who is the apple of his eye.

Laura is a director of Conveyancing Expert and an experienced lawyer. Laura heads up the customer care and business development for the firm and her principal role is ensuring that our many customers are given the service they have come to expect. Laura is always available to discuss new projects or concepts and is well regarded for her knowledge of the field, coupled with a down to earth attitude and a genuine friendly approach.

In her personal time, Laura rides a motorcycle and enjoys socialising. Laura is also a keen cyclist and attends the gym on a regular basis.

Darren is a Solicitor and Licensed Conveyancer and is a very well regarded Property Solicitor. Darren has been listed in Chambers twice (Chambers is the directory of the best lawyers in the world). Darren is the firms quality standards manager and is also responsible for all staff training. Darren host's training sessions to improve the standard of knowledge in residential conveyancing.

Darren is exceptionally qualified in acting for housing associations and is an authority in this area.

In his personal time, Darren enjoys supporting Manchester City Football club and spending time with his two children.

Lesley is a very experienced conveyancer and a registered paralegal. She is skilled in dealing with all aspects of conveyancing and her positive attitude makes her a favourite with her clients. Lesley always goes the extra mile to ensure that the stressful conveyancing process is as smooth as it can be for her clients.

In her personal time, Lesley enjoys socialising with her friends, spending time with her two teenage boys and is a keen Manchester United fan.

Laura is an experienced legal executive and is a firm favourite with clients, many of whom write in to commend her efforts. Laura is very well organised and manages to keep clients informed and updated on progress whist moving the files along. Laura works alongside Lesley Hill.

Laura enjoys spending time with friends and family and is the firms social butterfly. Laura is working towards obtaining her certificate in Licenced Conveyancing.

Val is a legal secretary with many years experience in conveyancing and looking after clients. Val is responsible for many aspects of the conveyancing transaction and is always able to give important updates to clients and agents. Val works alongside Gavin Wall.

In her personal time, Val's passion is small dogs (lhasa apso's) and her little champ, Hugo is due to attend Crufts in March 2012

Kelly is the office accounts manager and is exceptionally skilled in dealing with the complexities of the Solicitors Account Rules. Kelly manages all incoming and outgoing money to the firm which in a busy law firm such as Conveyancing Expert can run to many millions in each day. In our yearly review by the Council for Licenced Conveyancing, our accounts scored an 'exceptional' which shows how diligent Kelly is in her capacity as the accounts manager.

In her personal time, Kelly rides horses and her desk is festooned with pictures of 'Piper', her Irish draft cross gelding.

Tina is responsible for all administration in the office. This includes managing the incoming and outgoing post managing the reception, stationery ordering, archiving of files and a plethora of other jobs that keep a busy office moving along.

In her personal time, Tina is a keen frequenter of public houses and enjoys spicy food. Tina is 'the glue' that binds the office together and often offers words of wisdom and practical advice to other members of the team.
